Princess Canarias renovates the Esencia de Fuerteventura by Princess

• The comprehensive reform of Esencia de Fuerteventura by Princess includes the renovation of all guest rooms and El Mirador restaurant, as well as the creation of a pool bar, a new gym, a night bar, a lounge, and a panoramic viewpoint.
• The redesign aligns with its new Adults-Only concept.
• The reopening will take place on 1 June 2026 after being closed for renovation since 8 January. The completion of these works is scheduled for 15 May 2026.

San Bartolomé de Tirajana, 17 March 2026. Princess Canarias marks a milestone in its renovation strategy across the archipelago with the structural and conceptual overhaul of Esencia de Fuerteventura by Princess. After an intensive reconstruction project, the establishment will reopen its doors on 1 June 2026, completely transformed.

This intervention not only updates the aesthetics of the space but also redefines its market segment, removing family-oriented infrastructure to make way for spaces designed for relaxation and sophistication.

A new concept: Adults Only

The driving force behind this renovation has been the transition to an Adults-Only model. This change in typology has involved a profound redistribution of communal areas:

• Replacement of children’s areas: The former mini-club and children’s pool have been removed to build a new state-of-the-art gym.
• Repurposing of spaces: The location of the former Coral Bar will become a panoramic viewpoint with a relaxation area offering privileged views of the Atlantic. Additionally, a new pool bar is being created on the site of the former gym.
• New nightlife venues: A night bar and a lounge area on sand under a pergola have been incorporated, designed to provide an intimate and relaxed atmosphere.

Redesign of guest rooms

All guest rooms will undergo a full refurbishment, including new furniture throughout, aimed at providing extra comfort alongside a more modern and elegant design.

Standard and Superior Family rooms feature a new bathroom design, where the bath-shower combination is replaced by modern walk-in showers which also improve accessibility.

Furthermore, the Suites—which remain the most exclusive rooms with sea views—retain their independent bedroom and living room layout, but are being elevated with premium materials and finishes through the new furnishings.

Enhanced dining experience at El Mirador Restaurant

El Mirador restaurant has undergone a 180-degree architectural transformation, both inside and out. The renovation includes entirely new buffet and dining areas, as well as a panoramic terrace that strengthens the connection between guests and the marine environment.

With this transformation, Esencia de Fuerteventura by Princess will not only unveil new facilities from 1 June 2026 but will also inaugurate a new way of experiencing relaxation in Fuerteventura.
